Hi everyone,       

Thank you so much for stoppin' by and taking time to learn a little about me. My name is Marti. I live in the "Land of Oz".  (betcha can't guess where that is)!!  I have been married to my wonderful hubby for 27 years.  My goodness.  27 years!!!   Wow, how time flies.

We have been blessed with two wonderful children.  Our very special son Michael, and our beautiful daughter, Tammy.  Michael has been married now for 11 years.  He has a great wife and they have given us the most wonderful grandson anyone could ask for.  Tammy, our sweet little girl, was married last September. (On my birthday). She found the man of her dreams. He is very special to us. I still miss having both of my kids around here!  

I have worked in the medical field for the past 25 years.  I've had back problems since I was young.  Well, those back problems finally caught up with me and I've had two back surgeries in the last 5 months.  And I'm looking at a possible 3rd surgery.   I had to give up my job that I loved so much.   So to keep my sanity,  I started creating and making crafts.  I have always had a love of primitive crafts.  But working a full time job, I didn't have much time to devote to my crafting.  So since I'm not able to work any longer,  I got this crazy idea  to try and sell my offerings.  Well, what do ya know, people were actually buying my creations.   So, Tennessee Mountain Primitives was born!   My husband has even become involved in the business.  He is a very talented craftsman.  He makes all of the woodcrafted items I have for sale.   He has made everything from my coffee table and end tables to a beautiful hanging pot holder for me.  I wish I had half of his talent. All of my offerings are created and handmade by me and my husband.  We make them one at a time, with lots of love, time and attention to detail.  Our customers are above all, number one to us.  We strive to make sure our customers are happy.  If you ever have a question or concern, please don't hesitate to contact us.  I love to hear from my customers.  We will work to make sure you are happy and satisfied.

I would like to thank each and every one of my customers for their continued support!  I have made many friends since opening my website.  I hope to make many more in the years to come.
