CANDLE SAFETY TIPS

NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED

Please be sure to keep your candles away from ANY drafts. Ceiling fans are a big no-no.  Air conditioning and heating vents also create air movement which can affect the way your candle burns.  * A great tip...if the flame of your candle moves or "dances", your candle is in a draft.  Move it to another area to get the best burning quality.

Keep a close eye on your flame when burning your candle in a vase or hurricane.  These will also create air movements which can make your candle burn unevenly.

Always keep your wick trimmed to approx. one quarter inch, especially the 3 inch diameter candles.  Here is a good rule of thumb...If you see black smoke coming from the flame - it is time to trim your wick.

Always extinguish the flame before trimming and never let the wick trimmings remain in the wax.

For my primitive grungy taper candles, please be extra careful when burning due to the spice mixture!!

This may seem like a lot of things to remember, but remember, you are dealing with fire.  We want to keep our customers safe!  Follow these simple tips and use common sense so you can enjoy our wonderful candles all year long.

If you have any questions regarding our candles, please feel free to e-mail me.  I am always happy to hear from my customers.
